Statement [ESP]

Las temáticas que abordo en mi trabajo están relacionadas a la crisis medioambiental y social que condicionan nuestra actualidad. Me interesa interpelar el presente y las situaciones conflictivas que percibo del entorno desde una perspectiva feminista y el activismo ecológico, siendo consciente de lo opresivo y maquinal que es el sistema patriarcal y la visión antropocéntrica la cual estamos inmersxs.

Me baso en los trabajos de filósofxs y antropólogxs contemporáneos para brindar un marco teórico a los proyectos que abordo. Son temas de interés los trabajos sobre la revolución digital, la era informática e inteligencia artificial de Eric Sadin y Mark Twain, los cuestionamientos al antropocentrismo de Dona Haraway o Bruno Latour y las críticas ecofeministas de Vandana Shiva y Alicia Puleo.

No me acoto a un único medio artístico, por el contrario, utilizo diversas técnicas siendo la fotografía digital y la narrativa curatorial con las cuales más me identifico. Priorizo el tratamiento de la idea y el concepto antes que la forma.

The themes I address in my work are related to environmental and social crisis that conditions our current situation. I am interested in questioning conflictive situations of our environment from a feminist perspective and ecological activism, being aware of how oppressive and mechanical the patriarchal system and the anthropocentric vision in which we are immersed are.

I draw on the works of contemporary philosophers and anthropologists to provide a theoretical framework for the projects I address. Topics of interest are the works on the digital revolution, the computer age and artificial intelligence by Eric Sadin and Mark Twain, the questioning of anthropocentrism by Dona Haraway or Bruno Latour and the ecofeminist criticisms of Vandana Shiva and Alicia Puleo.

I do not limit myself to a single artistic medium; on the contrary, I use various techniques, with digital photography and curatorial narrative being the ones I most identify with. I prioritize the treatment of the idea and the concept before the form.
